MotoGP second series of the season has started with the action from all rider in the opening practice session at the Jerez circuit Spain on Friday (30/04/2010). While experiencing the incident, Casey Stoner get the fastest lap record.

The Ducati rider recorded a time of one minute 39.731 seconds on lap four, but then fell at the end of the session.This record was still not defeated the other riders until the practice session over.

Jorge Lorenzo is still occupying the second place by 0.144 seconds apart from Stoner, while Nicky Hayden, finished in third place with 0.417 seconds behind.

Next to fill the position of four to 10 is Dani Pedrosa, Valentino Rossi, Loris Capirossi, Colin Edwards, Hector Barbera, Alvaro Bautista and Marco Melandri.

MotoGP Spain becomes the second series of the season, after a series of Japan in Motegi delayed to the end of the season because of the effects Eyjafjallajökull eruption in Iceland. Rossi won the first in Qatar.
