In the motogp 2010 season, Yamaha no longer shares the data race between Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo. When lorenzo asked about the possibility of Yamaha will give more attention to The Doctor rather than him, Lorenzo said he did not worried about that.

“It is reasonable that Yamaha engineers pay more attention (to Rossi) because now he’s got better results and I have no experience. So far, it does not matter,” Lorenzo said in an interview with the U.S..

Rossi and Lorenzo last season involved in a fighting fierce competition at the top MotoGP standings. This condition was the reason why officials from Fiat Yamaha team want to separate the data in 2010 season.

Just in case he did not get the same treatment as Rossi, Lorenzo admitted not to worry about it. The only decision he regretted about is the race data is also separate between the two bikes. He saw the possibility that Yamaha YZR-M1 will not develop as good as the last season.

“I do not know why Yamaha made that decision. But in theory, it is slowing down the bike development.”

“Fortunately I have enough with my self and do not have to look to other drivers. Last season we saw each other bikes in one race. Last year we got the benefit from it and to bad it did not continue in this season,” added Lorenzo.
