Yamaha great result, stoner still calm
Yamaha recorded a great result in the test at Sepang last week. But Ducati rider Casey Stoner not worried about yamaha appearance.
Fiat Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi appeared to dominate the two-day test at Sepang. Meanwhile, Jorge Lorenzo, Rossi team mate managed to finish in third position on the second day. The Spainiard success to improve the appearance of his first day where he finish fifth.
Meanwhile duo Monster Tech 3 Yamaha team, Colin Edwards and a rookie Ben Spies also have a great performance. Edwards’s best achievement was finishing third (first day), while Spies is the fifth (second day).
Ducati rider Casey Stoner claimed he did not to worried about Yamaha neat performance in Malaysia. “They look good. But every year they do look good in here (Sepang), was for us this place is like Achilles,” Stoner said as quoted by Motorcycle News.
In Greek mythology, Achilles was a hero in the Trojan war. But he has a weakness in the heel of his foot. Stoner could be likened to Ducati as a hero, but almost always fail to display the best in Sepang.

“We did note a good test results and the race results are good at Sepang. But here we are having more difficulty than in other circuits,” Stoner said which he got a runner-up position in first and second.
Stonner admitted that he is happy with his achievements in test sessions in Malaysia. He believes in subsequent tests, his team will find a good setup for his bike on the entire season.
“Last season, the bike can perform a maximum result at some circuits and have difficulty in other circuits. But now I think this bike is better,” Stoner said.
“I believe that this bike package would be a better way to deal with the whole season, not just good at one or two circuits alone,” added 24-year-old driver was.
